This has been our go to spot for Vietnamese food when we visit SoCal. The food and flavors are always consistent and we love that there is a huge seafood selection on their menu. Our favorite dishes are Tom Cang Hot Pot and Salted Egg Yolk Shrimps. The staffs (Truc & Nga) were great and attentive! They were very patient and kindly explained some of the dishes to us. They kept coming up to our table to check on us even though there was a full house. If you love seafood and unique flavors, Lau Tom 5 Ri Restaurant is the place to go. But remember, it's a popular spot and not a big restaurant, so you might have to wait a bit, especially is during rush hours. If you are looking to indulge in delicious food and hospitality, this restaurant is sure to surpass your expectations. 10 out of 5 stars easily. I look forward to my next visit!

Great little place that has authentic food from Bien Hoa. The shrimp pot is delicious but it was so sugary sweet so we added the two fish sauce dish that they provided and it was perfect. The papaya salad was good too. The only snail is not that good. They should change it to the Canadian sea snails. All and all they have good food here.

Good food, good services... absolutely come back Lẩu cua đồng ngon, quá chừng cua luôn í. Tôm càng cháy tỏi ngon hết sảy... đừng quên cơm chiên cá mặn nửa nhe pà con

Great spot to come and enjoy some flavorful Vietnamese food. Their fried rice here is amazing. I love the seafood fried rice and their salted egg yolk prawns are delicious. Their lau Tom is good too! Definitely one of the better ones in the area.

came here to celebrate my dads bday. a smaller place than we had expected and we waited over near an hr despite having reservations, but we enjoyed a good meal here. some things to id note on our meal - their prawns here seriously are h u g e, like close to a balled up fist in size? they know how to cook em well here and seriously ate it up quick aha - lau tom is pretty good; a really nice soup that warms the soul - the com chien ca man/ salted fish fried rice is one of my menu rec's if you like fried rice. they cooked well and it has a nice texture, bits of scorched rice mixed in~~ - the kids liked and quickly ate up the chao tom/sugarcane shrimp~ - goi tom muc / mango salad was fair but the muc nuong sate was mid and too thick cut for my taste
